Discussion Post: Idea of Justice
For DBQ 6.1, choose two selections from the Week 6 reading (pages 468-553 " Crossing the Danger water- Three Hundred years of African-American Writing by Deirdre Mullane), and then, in at least 10-12 well-developed sentences, analyze the selection in relation to a post Civil War notion (idea) of justice from 1865 to 1960. Cited reference to both selections is required. Consider how this compares to present day in the probability of Amy Coney Barrett's originality views on the constitution which could lead to the Supreme Court reversing civil rights for women and people of color.
