Problem
Analyze a political issue of your choice and connect the chosen issue to the Bardes et. al. textbook and class lectures. Textbook connections need in-text citations with page numbers. The topic that you choose must be relevant to contemporary American politics, political in nature, and the analysis provided must define the situation and explain its political implications. Since we are an American politics class, the topic chosen must be domestic politics and not foreign policy. Further, the topic must be tied in to one of the three major themes that we covered at the beginning of this class. The class themes or textbook chapter topics cannot be your chosen paper topic.
