Advocates use social media campaigns for social justice

Problem:

As the textbook states, "Advocates use social media campaigns to achieve social justice. But just providing information will not be enough for most people to know what would be helpful. Thus, just as advertisers encourage people to buy their product, in their communications advocates should encourage people to take action to fulfill the goals of the advocacy effort, whether it is to contact decision-makers, contribute time or money to the cause, attend a rally or protest, or whatever is the appropriate action" (p. 149).
