Acknowledging the prisoners constraint can be a good idea

Assignment Task: Prisoner's Viewpoint

Ideally speaking, having to look at the sides of the prisoner's viewpoint may be much more appealing, especially if one is trying to investigate the matter and understand prison life. Assuming that I am an officer who deals with criminal matters and has become to the point, I should underway the prison life for at least 24- hours. The impact of this will give me an inevitable experience that I will forever remain discussing in a way that others can learn from and will not fall victim to experience. In other words, my presence in prison for 24 hours a day would be like a month, so I think being in prison for even one hour is not appealing, nor shall it be welcoming. Though in our general perspective, we think that those who commit a crime are fit to be in prison; however, the absolute fact is that there is nowhere in this study where prisoners feel happy to be in prison. Prison has social values and behavior which are expected of the prisoners. In this scenario, I can not afford to even be in prison for an hour. This is because I will miss many activities of my freedom.

In addition, a few of the most precious freedoms that I will miss is the free movement of my daily activities. I will miss going to school, work, and the gym. There are many other activities that I will miss. Freedom of spending time with my family will be the ultimate one that I will miss. Overall, the idea of being in prison is not good; therefore, acknowledging the prisoner's constraint can be a good idea. Here is what we have learned from the study resources.

"It is precise because corrections involve the deprivation of liberty, precisely because it involves the legally sanctioned exercise of coercion by some citizens over others, that it must remain wholly within public hands."
