An alpha particle travels at a velocity of magnitude 800 m/s via a uniform magnetic field of magnitude 0.047 T. (The alpha particle consists of a charge of charge of +3.2 x 10^-19 C and a mass of around 6.6 x 10^-27 kg). The angle among the particle's direction of motion and the magnetic field is around 59°. Determine the magnitude of (i) the force acting on the particle due to the field and (ii) the acceleration of the particle due to the force?
