Problem:
Have you ever seen the abuse of spirituality in terms of mental health diagnosis? For example, a well-meaning but wrongly assuming spiritual person tells someone suffering from a mental illness: "You just need to pray more", or "read scriptures more," or "your illness is because of your lack of faith," or "your illness is because of sin in your life." Although some of these may be contributing factors to a person's suffering in their diagnosis, saying these are alone the reason behind all types of mental illness can be detrimental to an individual. What are your thoughts on this subject? Maybe argue both sides. Have you seen persons harassed similarly? Need Assignment Help?
