Absorption column and regenerator for carbon-dioxide


I need a detailed chemical engineering design of an absorption column and the regenerator for a CO2 absorber using 40 WT% MDEA as solvent AND 60 wt% H20.

It is assumed that 90% of the CO2 is removed from the stream. The mass balance is attached with this in an excel sheet. The overall reaction between MDEA and CO2 in the absorber is assumed to be CO2 + H2O + R3N –> R3NH(+) + H(+) + CO3(-)
