A learner is usually part of a group whereas a scholar is

A learner is usually part of a group, whereas a scholar is often an independent learner that creates their own learning opportunities through research, which leads to some kind of written product that others can learn from. At this level, students are expected to create their own learning opportunities. I remember in graduate school that I wanted to become more adept with theory. I check out twenty books on various topics. Michel Foucault’s treatise, Discipline and Punish, Albert Camus’s essays, Henry Giroux’s critical works, Ideology, Culture, and the Process of Schooling, and Judith Butler’s theories on gender and feminism(s). These are just a few authors and four different subject areas (Philosophy, education, performance theory, gender studies) that contributed to my field of study. Please go online and do a little research. Please provide 3 authors and their works that you would like to read, and why?
