A hotel room has a floor area of 10 m by 4 m and is 2.5 high and has a window which is 1.6 m high and 3 m wide. The room contains some furniture and other commodities containing 50 kg polyurethane with 25 MJ/kg and 350 kg wood with 18 MJ/kg. Calculate the fuel load density and the opening factor and give a temperature time curve for the design of the structural stability if the enclosing construction can be assumed to be of fire compartment type A. AND if the enclosing construction is of lightweight concrete?
