1 the charge flowing in a wire is plotted in the figure

1. The charge flowing in a wire is plotted in the Figure below.

(a) Write the expressions for q(t) as a function of time?

(b) What are the corresponding expressions for i(t)?

(c) Sketch the behaviour of i(t) for the given trend of q(t)?

2. Consider the circuit shown in the Figure below.

(a) Find currents i1 and i2. Provide the KCL equations?

(b) What is the power supplied by each of the voltage sources?

(c) For each voltage source, is the power supplied or absorbed?

3. Setting R1 = 5 Ω, answer the following questions

(a) What is the combined voltage across R1 & the 10Ω resistor?

(b) What is the current through the 5Ω resistor?

(c) What is the voltage at node A?

(d) What is the current flowing through R1?

(e) Draw the circuit diagram which substitutes a dependent current source for R1. The value of the dependent current source is 2v, where v is the voltage across the 2A current source, and the direction of the dependent current source is into the node common to all the resistors

(f) For the circuit in part e, above, what is the voltage across the dependent current source.
