Please answer both of the questions below. Your responses should demonstrate awareness of the readings and the video modules as well as your own thinking around the questions.
1. In chapter one of Laudato Si' ("What is Happening to Our Common Home"), Pope Francis describes several of the environmental challenges we face. How does what he calls "The Gospel of Creation" (chapter two) suggest ways of responding?
2. Genesis 1-2 talks about human responsibility within creation using language of dominion, fruitfulness, care and cultivate. Romans 8: 19 notes that "creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the children of God" and Revelation 21-22 talk about "a new heaven and a new earth". How do these Scriptures and the ways that might be interpreted affect our discussions of environmental responsibility?

2) incorporates concepts and ideas from the readings, films, and discussions (50%),
3) engages the personal dimension, that is, your personal thinking, feeling, reacting (25%).
