The benefits  of objects  oriented technology  are enhanced if it is addressed early on and  throughout the software engineering process. Those considering object  oriented technology must  assess its  impact on the entire  software engineering process. Merely employing object oriented programming (OOP) will not  yield the  best results. Software engineers  and their managers must such items as objects oriented requirements analysis (OORA), objects oriented design (OOD) object oriented domain analysis (OODA), objects oriented database systems(OODBMS) and objects oriented  computer aided software engineering  (OOCASE)"

This definition provides us a light overview of the objects oriented term, and  its related concepts and fundamentals. Now  the would like to  discuss the OO process model.

The  OO process model uses the  development  spiral process model in which  it uses the concept of components  based development  model that means it uses  the concept of reuses, as we can  see in fig 7.1, the components  based development  model (discussed in chapter 3) is used  here  which  becomes  the base of the  object oriented process model.

As shown in the figure it is  initially essential to have a  communication between the  developer and customer. All the requirements  ( or basic problem classes) are understood by the developer  he marks the plan and considers the risk analysis. In  the next region, a separate box is shown. The  technical  work associated with OO software engineering  follows the iterative path  as shown  in the box. So first  the classes are identified, and it is checked  whether they  already exist in the  library  for future use or not it they  exist,

They  can be extracted and can be reused either directly or with  some  modifications. If they don't  they have to be built  up. After using  them if it is required then new classes can be put in  the library  for future use. After that the customer evaluates the product and he may give his feedback.

In this  way the OOA process model is built up which used the  evolutionary spiral model approach. The concept of reuse makes this model more  efficient to be used.
