Identification of the fault in given TV receiver:
1. First the TV receiver is switched ON firstly.
2. There are no picture just green retrace lines on the screen.
3. Switch OFF the receiver instantaneously and verify green retrace lines fault in the given Receiver.
Check the stages of the TV receiver:
1. Switch 'ON' the TV receiver
2. Just green retrace lines on the Screen.
3. Compute the voltage at the green cathode if it is correct.
4. Test the components related to green cathode.
5. Test the IC and transistors, related to green cathode
6. Test the picture tube base.
7. If the picture tube's base is fault, remove and solder the new one.
