Introduction to Full Pitch Winding
The top coil side in slot number 1 is to be connected to bottom coil side in slot number (1 + 12 =) 13 or back pitch, Yb = 25, in terms of coil sides, that is, if slot number 1 is at the starting of the first North Pole, N1, the slot number 13 will be at the starting of the first South Pole, S1.
The winding pitch, Y = +2 (progressive winding). The front pitch, Yf = Yb - Y = 25 - 2 = 23 in terms of coil sides. The below table explains the winding table for RYB or ABC Phases.
