BD115 amplifies the frequency and provides it to the base of the output transistor BU205. 11OV is delivered to the collector of BU205 by primary of Line Output Transformer (LOT). Emitter is being earthed.

BU205 conducts throughout trace period and in retrace period it does not.

Throughout the conduction, an electromagnetic field is built in the primary of LOT. While the transistor goes off, the electromagnetic field collapses and so makes a 6KV at the center of the primary. Because of mutual induction, the LOT steps up to generate an extra high voltage of 18000Volts. This EHT voltage is corrected through a rectifier namely TV20 and delivered to final anode of picture tube. Also, LOT generates boosted B+ of about +250V to bias the grids of picture tube. Therefore power supply to several stages is taken from LOT, it is also termed as auxiliary power supply.
