What do you mean by osmotic pressure?
Expert
Osmotic pressure is the pressure formed in an aqueous solution by an area of lower solute concentration on an area of higher solute concentration forcing the passageway of water from that to this higher concentrated area. The intensity of the osmotic pressure (that is, in units of pressure) is equivalent to the pressure which is essential to apply in the solution to save its dilution by entering of water through osmosis.
