Vaccines against the viral infection-dengue and AIDS
Why is it difficult to create effectual vaccines against the viral infection such as dengue and AIDS?
Expert
It is difficult to create vaccines against the dengue since there are four dissimilar types of viruses which cause the disease (DEN1, DEN3, DEN2 and DEN4) and it is supposed that the protection against one of them make worse the clinical manifestation when the person is later infected by another dengue virus.
In the case of HIV, the production of a vaccine is hard since the virus is extremely mutants and evades antibody action.
