According to George R. Terry, the make-up of a job, its relation to other jobs, and its requirements for proficient performance are vital information needed for a job analysis. Information on a job may be acquired from three primary sources:
(a) From those employees who are actually performing the job.
(b) From other employees such as administrator and foremen who observe the workers doing a job and thereby find the knowledge about it.
(c) From outside viewers specially allotted to observe employees doing a job. Such outside people are called the trade job analysts. Sometimes, unique job reviewing committees are also made.
