In the two stage compressors, if the temperature of air leaving the intercooler is same as the original inlet temperature then the inter-cooling is said to be perfect inter-cooling. By having perfect inter-cooling isothermal process can be achieved.Therefore, there will be isothermal efficiency when there is Perfect Inter-cooling .
