Meaning of concentration gradient
What is the meaning of concentration gradient? Is it accurate to refer to concentration gradient of water?
Expert
The concentration gradient is the difference of concentration of a substance among two areas.
Concentration is a word employed to designate the amount of a solute divided by the net quantity of the solution. As water in general is the solvent in this condition it is not accurate to refer to “concentration of water” in a particular solution.
