Arterial vessels are all blood vessel which carries blood from the heart to tissues. Arteries and arterioles are the arterial vessels. Arterioles are thin arteries which end in capillaries. Not all arteries though have arterial blood (that is, highly oxygenated blood). The pulmonary artery and its ramifications, arteries which carry blood from the right heart ventricle to lungs, have venous blood.
