Ventricle walls are thicker as compared to those of the atrium walls as ventricles are the structures that are responsible for the purpose of pumping of the blood to lungs or tissues. Muscular work of the ventricles is harder and their muscle fibers gets developed more. The left ventricle is more muscular rather than the right ventricle as pumping of blood to the lungs is easier which means they require less pressure in comparison to the pumping blood to the other tissues of body.
