Human beings are constantly attacked by numerous sensory stimulations including noise, sight, smell, taste etc, the critical question In the study of perception is why the same universe is viewed differently by different persons? The answer is the perception. Different people perceive the universe differently.

Perception is the process through which the information from outside environment is selected, received, organized and interpreted to make it meaningful to us.

Perception is the process by which individuals organize and interpret their sensory impressions in order to give meaning to their environment.

Different people have different opinion about it. Some of them are as follows:

According to S.P. Robbins: "perception may be defined as a process by which individuals organize and interpret their sensory impressions in order to give meaning to their environment".

According to Joseph Reitz, "Perception includes all those processes by which an individual receives information about his environment - seeing, hearing, feeling, and smelling."
