Give a brief explanation of Black-box testing.

Black-box testing employs external descriptions of software, comprising specifications, requirements as well as designs to derive test cases. Such tests can be functional or non-functional, although usually functional. The test designer selects invalid and valid inputs and determines the correct output. There is no knowledge of test objects internal structure.
