A monitor or display sometimes known as a visual display unit is described as a piece of electrical equipment that shows the images produced by the devices like computers, without generating the permanent record. The monitor consists of the display device, circuitry, and an enclosure. The display device in the modern monitors is classically a thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD); however older monitors use the cathode ray tube (CRT).
