The animation word is derived from ‘animate’ that literally signifies ‘to give life to’, ‘animating’ a thing signifies to impart movement to something that cannot move on its own.
Computer animation is a phenomenon which is time based of imparting visual changes to a scene according to any time series. The visual changes could be integrated via positional changes, in object color, size, surface texture or transparency, etc.
The Production of animation can be done by two processes:
A) In first method, the artist creating a succession of cartoon frames, which are then jointed into a film.
B) In second method, the physical models are used which positioned to the image, where the image is first recorded and then the model is moved to the next image for its recording, and this process is carried on.
