Expert
There are mainly three types of muscle tissue: skeletal striated muscle tissue, cardiac striated muscle tissue and the smooth muscle tissue.
The striated muscles represent beneath microscopic view transversal stripes and their fibers (or cells) are multinucleate (that is, in the skeletal) or might have more than one nucleus (that is, in the cardiac). The smooth muscle doesn’t present transversal stripes and it consists of spindle-shaped fibers each with just one nucleus.
