Combinational circuits devices

I have some problem related to Combinational circuits devices. Answer the following questions in brief.

A) Interpret manufacturers’ data sheets to select appropriate combinational logic devices for specific purposes?

Give evidence that datasheets have been interpreted to build the particular logic circuit.

B) Compare the characteristics of similar devices using different technologies?

Demonstrate  that  the difference in characteristics between different logic families  has been correctly understood.

C) Design, construct and test combinational circuits?

Show the lecturer the built and working combinational logic circuit. Circuits must be constructed in a clear manner showing all relevant inputs and outputs. Inputs should be interfaced using switches and outputs via appropriately interfaced LED’s. These should be shown on the final circuit diagrams submitted with the assignment.

The criterion will be withheld if it is considered that he circuit construction/presentation is not up to the required standard.

It is also strongly advised that students build their own regulator circuit and follow guidelines discussed in class where TTL/CMOS logic circuits are used

D) Use computer software packages (eg Visual Spice) to simulate logic circuits?

Show that transient simulations can be done using proteus. Annotate the diagrams  in such a way to verify the correct operation of the circuit.

M1 - Identify and apply strategies to find appropriate solutions
M2 - Select/design and apply appropriate methods/techniques
