Assignment:
Studying two films that address a theme or issue of global concern. The films chosen must come from two countries and reflect different cultural perspectives. The analysis and research should consider the way filmmaking techniques, use of film aesthetics (cinematography, sounds, narrative structures, production design, editing etc.), film theory, and communication styles used convey the theme or issue in context of global issues.
Requirements:
1. Formal paper (third person)
2. minimum of 4 research sources to develop problem (not including the films)
3. Works Cited page (MLA)
4. one film must be foreign
