For an ICP write-up, you are required to find an example relevant to the scheduled topic of discussion in class. You may find it from Business News/Chapter Endnotes/Case Studies/Journal Articles. This will help you to prepare for the class. You are encouraged to take active part in class study discussions by sharing/narrating ICP example in the class. This enriches the quality of discussions and promotes collaborative learning. You need to submit a hand written or typed ICP, not more than ONE page in the class. No late submission or out of class submissions are graded. Total TEN ICP write-ups are required to be submitted throughout the semester (See course schedule for the DUE DATES). Each ICP is worth 10 points, making a total of 100 points (10x10=100). There is no format or template for writing the ICPs, but you are expected to cover a brief introduction of the company, the theory or concept under discussion, and why ICP is relevant to the discussion. The purpose of this activity is to provide an opportunity to students to learn by finding real world examples from retail businesses and sharing it to contribute in thoughtful discussions in class. Additionally, collaborative learning promotes a sense of community and belongingness among students.
