Optimistic of the company future income projections

How would CPA's feel and what would they do in this situation:

The largest moral dilemma as an accounting practitioner is having a client that is HIGHLY optimistic of his company's future income projections and refusing to downscale his numbers to a more realistic valuation. Having said this, the CPA had no choice but to lose a client or be forced to "sign off" on his numbers.

Morals and ethics in the accounting or auditing business can ever be neglected, no matter the reason or result. The way I see it is, if you cross the line, even just a little bit, then the line disappears and your personal credibility is no longer justified.
