Making Choices Regarding Web Application Security
Considering the volatile nature of the web it is not uncommon to hear customers claim that they will never trust a website with their confidential information. Despite this, many health organizations are delivering services over the web and requiring patients to make appointments and access their records this way. Do you think this is an appropriate route for gathering patient information? Why or why not? How do you think a healthcare organization should approach customer fears and reluctance regarding web application security?
