How would you prepare your staff for an upcoming accreditation survey
As the new Manager of the Health Information department, you are informed that the hospital will have a Joint Commission survey within the next several months. Over 50% of the staff have been employed at the hospital for less than two years, and you are not certain they understand how important this survey is to the hospital. As the manager it is your responsibility to construct a training program to prepare the employees for the upcoming survey. Develop an outline of what this training program would consist of. Identify key topics that need to be reviewed. Be creative and post new ideas on how to accomplish this role of teaching the HIM staff.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
