Graduate students produce a low quality beer and a high quality Belgian ale, both are favorites at USC fraternity and sorority parties. The beer sells for $15 per keg and the ale for $43 keg. The major cost for ingredients are locally grown corn and hops. Producing a keg of beer requires 5 lbs of corn and 2 lbs hops. Producing a keg of ale requires 2 lbs of corn and 1 lb of hops. There are only 60 lbs of corn and 25 lbs of hops available. Formulate a linear program to maximize revenue, assuming that all that is produced will be purchased.
