Calculate the moles of air used per mole of the fuel

In a well-insulated continuous glass melter, propane gas (C3H8) is used as fuel with 100% excess (300K) air for combustion.

a) Write the combustion reaction assumption complete combustion.

b) Calculate the moles of air used per mole of the fuel

c) Calculate the number of moles of combustion gases generated per mole of the fuel.

d) Assuming that the molar heat capacities of all gases in the combustion gases are equal [=C (J/K-mol)] and constant with respect to temperature, calculate the expression for the energy efficiency of the melter as a function of the exit temperature (T). The caloric value of the fuel is given as Q J/mol.
