As the average age of many skilled trade employees grows, the coming demand for skilled workers in may trades is expected to outstrip supply in the United States. There is a potential for employers in some areas to experience a labor shortage because of this. How can HR prepare for this reality? What should be done now to avoid the shortage?

I currently work for ABC organization and an outside evaluation company audits our training program annually to make sure the employee training meets the needs of our organization.
