Explain colloidal minerals

Colloidal minerals: A "colloid" is a chemical explanation of a gel-like suspension. Thus, colloidal minerals would be a blend of minerals found in certain form of suspension or solution. Usually, commercially-available colloidal minerals are generated from mining ancient sea beds, and then mix the mined minerals with water or other fluid to sustain them in solution. While such products give a big number of minerals, there is no credible scientific proof to support marketing claims for superior absorption for bioavailability. They might even include relatively high levels of unwanted minerals like aluminum, lead or mercury (which obviously are naturally occurring), or of another contaminants.
