Graphic images which have been processed by the computer can generally be divided into two separate categories; bitmap graphics or vector graphics.
The Bitmap images are a collection of bits which form an image. The image comprises of a matrix of individual dots or pixels which have their own color described by using bits.
Vector graphics are images which might be completely explained by using mathematical definitions. The Vector graphics are made up of huge number of small lines which interconnect a large number of or just a few control points which are connected by using Bezier curves. It is this method which produces the best results and is used by most of the drawing programs.
