Computer Assisted Animation:
Computer assisted animation mainly refers to 2D systems which computerize the traditional animation procedure. Here the method used is interpolation between key shapes that is the only algorithmic employ of the computer in the production of this kind of animation equation, curve morphing (interpolation, velocity control, key frames) image morphing.
Computer Generated Animation:
Computer generated animation is that animation which are presented through film or video and that is again based on the perception of persistence of vision since the eye-brain assembles a series of images and interprets them as a continuous movement and if the rate of change of pictures is fairly rapid then it induce the sensation of continuous motion.
