Computer simulation is the discipline of designing a model of a real or theoretical physical system, functioning the model on a digital computer and examining the execution output. The simulation embodies the rule of ‘learning by doing’ to learnt about the system we have to first build a model of some kind and then functioning the model.
The merits of simulation is that even for simply solvable linear systems a uniform model execution method can be used to solve a big variety of systems without resorting to a bag of tricks where one should select special purpose and sometimes arcane solution techniques to keep away from simulation.
