Teamwork and Team Building
1) Your team leader is always pushing your work group to work harder, be more productive and be the most successful production team in the company. You and your fellow team members just laugh at him and get on with your work. You feel you are all productive and there is no need to work any harder. You get your weekly pay and working harder will not change that. What is the likelihood that the team could be more productive and what can the leader do to improve productivity?
2) You have been assigned to lead a new team of five members with each member being located in a different global city (you work for MNC with offices in the US, CN, MY, BR, AUS and NZ). Since the success of the team depends on using new technologies to communicate, what can you do to encourage full and equal participation by team members and what will you do to strengthen and enhance team behaviours?
