Question: Your team has been asked by senior management to cut costs related to the IT infrastructure of your company. Your team does all of the cost analysis and finds that VMware can save the company a considerable amount of money moving forward following the initial investment in the VMware software.
Over the duration of the course, the team will be building pieces of the proposal outlining the deployment of vSphere into the datacenter comparing and contrasting vSphere versus an all physical infrastructure, with the final completed 14- to 16-slide PowerPoint presentation due in Week Five. Starting in Week Two, the team will begin to build a section of the presentation proposal. Each subsequent week you will add slides based on the week's topics, with the final compiled presentation due in Week Five. In addition, you will write a 1- to 2-page Executive

• Virtual Network benefits
• Storage: differentiate between shared storage types and how to apply each type to VMware.
• How Storage vMotion can be used to create greater up-time
3. Week Four:
• Using Templates to save deployment time of virtual machines (VMs) versus physical hardware
• Resource Allocation (CPU, Mem) in VMware versus how resources are allocated on a physical machine
