Your task is to produce a one page (single spaced) HIPAA Patient Privacy Information Sheet . Such a document is used by a doctor’s practice to inform patients on their rights and how their health information might be protected and used by the healthcare provider and any of the stakeholders.
Be aware of avoiding plagiarism. Provide your own document. It has to reflect any HIPAA references linked to important HIPAA legislation. Research the problem carefully before providing your answer to task 3. Note that this task is NOT about explaining HIPAA. It is about creating a document informing patients of how their information might be protected and used on the basis of the rules stipulated in HIPAA; hence you are applying your HIPAA knowledge but not explaining HIPAA.
