Information Systems is a diverse field that covers many different aspects of organizational computing. For this assignment, you will research an area of Information Systems that is appealing to you and report on it. Your goal is to develop a better understanding of an area of information systems. You will also demonstrate your skills using the Penn State Library system.
Assignment Description - Your task is to find and report on a case in a particular area of Information Systems. Choose one from the list below:

Research - Once you have selected your topic, you need to research it. Please remember to review your Lesson 2 Hands-On Activity regarding using LionSearch to find sources. You may use any of the following materials as references:
- Industry or Corporate websites
- Trade Publications/Websites (such as CIO.com or GIQ.com)
- Industry reports
- Scholarly journals
Though you may use Wikipedia as a starting point for learning about the area, you may not use it as one of your references.
Your research strategy should be focused around answering the following questions/goals:
1. Provide a description of the subject area (what is it?)
2. What types of information systems are involved?
3. What are the latest trends related to the subject area?
4. What benefits are expected to be provided by IS?
5. What are some of the IS-¬related challenges related to the subject area?
