Fighting Staph
It is reported that thousands of people die every day due to staph infections acquired while in the hospital. Research the topic of staph infections and write a report that does the following:
- Defines a "staph infection"
- Lists some statistics, deaths, co-morbidities, etc.
- Discusses some of the causes of staph infections
- Assesses how hospitals are dealing with this issue
- Explains the role of risk management, infection control, etc.
- Discusses any personal experience you have with staph infections.
Your paper should not simply be a series of numbered responses, but rather a well-connected essay incorporating your findings about all of these elements. Consider using headings to organize your information within the essay.
Your paper should be 2-3 pages in length and discuss and cite at least two credible sources other than the course textbook. The CSU-Global Library is a great place to find sources. Document and citation formatting should conform to the CSU-Global Guide to Writing and APA Requirements.
