Your paper should explain and develop the aspects of a particular idea, concept, or argument covered in the readings (i.e. Socrates' defense of the life of philosophy – what it is, why it is worth dying for, Socrates' reasons to not escape from prison, Socrates' reasons for challenging Thrasymachus' view that justice is the advantage of the stronger) using primary texts, lectures, and class discussion thus far in the semester (don't use secondary sources).
