Your online course is scheduled to meet on the first day of

This is the scenario:
Your online course is scheduled to "meet" on the first day of class. All the students will meet in a specified chat room to introduce themselves and meet the instructor. Everyone has signed in and introduced him or herself. No one has the meeting agenda so you all wait for the instructor to sign in. You wait for about 20 minutes when the instructor signs in and introduces herself. She apologizes for being late, explaining that she was stuck in traffic en route home. Additionally, she thought she was supposed to "meet" another online class and went to that chat room instead.

She asks the students to reintroduce themselves. Unfortunately, she does not have the class roster.

Explain how impressions are formed by responding to the following:

What, do you believe, is the students' impression of people in general compared to what they thought of the instructor's late arrival and lack of preparedness?

Additionally, if the scenario described above had occurred in an onsite classroom, how would the instructor interpret the students' nonverbal communication?

Discuss the following points based on the scenario provided above.

How do you form impressions of others?
How do you categorize people?
How do you form stereotypes?
What are the attribution theory and biases?
What is the co variation theory?
