Discussion Board Assignment:
Your first Discussion Board assignment involves interviewing an HR professional for about 15 minutes. This person can be someone in your own organization or in an organization of a friend or a relative. Another avenue is to get in touch with your local HR SHRM chapter and ask if they can recommend someone who would be willing to be interviewed.
Questions to ask:
1. What are your most important roles and responsibilities?
2. Describe the most difficult challenges you face as an HR professional.
3. In your current job, how important are managing teams, managing globalization, managing diversity, and managing change?
4. What are the most difficult ethical issues you face as an HR professional?
