Your Activity Design Write-up should be well described and should include:
1. Curriculum area you have selected as the focus of your activity - Socio-Dramatic Play
Consider/discuss the needs/skill level/interests of the children you would like to address with this activity.
2. Name and description of the activity you have planned
3. Age of child activity is designed for children under the age of 5
4. Two, measurable child objectives for the activity
5. Process envisioned and how stage is set for play, why
6. Time and space needed, why
7. Play objects/materials needed/provided, why
8. How you are addressing child culture/language/prior experiences/special needs
9. Your role in facilitating play
10. Any safety issues/concerns and how you will prepare for and manage them
11. Developmental domains addressed and how they will be addressed
12. DC Early Learning Standards (at least two) addressed, how
13. Elements that make the activity developmentally appropriate
14. Clean-up that includes children
