CORPORATION PROJECT
You work for a Hedge fund that has 5 Million Dollars to invest. Research two (2) publicly traded companies, they should be in the same industry, for example two telecom companies, two pharmaceutical companies, two software companies, etc.
Compare each company based upon:
- The rights of shareholders in the BYLAWS,
- Status with the SEC, and other government agencies (fines, audits, complaints, investigations)
- And any other information you are able to obtain regarding their legal status, for example lawsuits, antitrust action etc.
Draft an opinion highlighting the pros and cons of each based on your research, and conclude where to invest ALL of the money (you cannot invest it 50/50)!
Attach the relevant BYLAWS for the company to your assignment. Assignment should be between 4-6 pages typed plus 1 page memo.
